Resolution Guide
Drafting a good resolution is not terribly difficult to do once the basic structure is understood. A resolution is nothing but a single sentence and complies with all the normal rules of English grammar. In addition, there are some simple matters of style that are unique to resolutions of this type. Resolutions are the primary type of document produced by policy making bodies such as the General Assembly, the main subcommittees, the Economic and Social Council, and the Security Council. The information here is presented at several levels ranging from the compete technical explanation to simple examples in order to serve a wide range of needs.
